Terms of service
Last updated: 1 July 2026
These terms govern your use of the Pulsix platform at app.pulsix.io and this website (“the Service”). By creating an account or using the Service you agree to them. If you use Pulsix as a coach with clients, the coach-specific provisions in section 7 also apply to you.
1. What Pulsix is (and isn’t)
Pulsix is a data-first fitness and health platform: it captures the training, nutrition, body, biomarker and wellness data you choose to provide or connect, unifies it into one timeline, and generates coaching-style analysis from it — insights, adaptive targets, reports and an AI chat grounded in your own records.
Pulsix is not a medical service. It provides coaching insights, not medical advice; it is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or prevent any condition. Content produced by the Service — including AI-generated insights, targets, reports and chat answers — is informational and must not be used as a substitute for professional medical advice. Consult a qualified clinician before acting on any flagged biomarker or making significant changes to diet, training or medication.
2. Your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use Pulsix.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for keeping your credentials secure. We strongly recommend enabling multi-factor authentication.
- One person per account; you may not share credentials or impersonate others.
3. Your data and content
- You own your data. Everything you log, upload or sync remains yours. You grant us the licence needed to store and process it solely to provide the Service.
- You can export all of your data, and permanently delete your account, at any time from Settings → Privacy in the app.
- You must only connect sources and upload files you are entitled to use — see the acceptable use policy.
4. AI-generated content
AI outputs are generated from your own data and are provided as-is. They can be wrong, incomplete or out of date, and they depend on the quality and completeness of the data you capture. Apply judgement — and for coaches, review before you send.
5. Subscriptions and billing
- The Free tier is free. Paid tiers (Pulsix Pro, Coach, Team) are billed by subscription through Stripe at the prices shown at checkout. Coach subscriptions include a metered per-active-client component.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. You can cancel at any time and keep paid features until the end of the billing period; we do not charge cancellation fees.
- Our pricing is all-in: a tier includes every feature it advertises, with no hidden add-on charges. If we change a price, existing subscribers get advance notice before it applies to them.
- Taxes (for example VAT) are applied where required by law.
6. Downgrades and data
Downgrading or cancelling never deletes your captured data. Paid features stop working (with a short read-only grace window for content they produced), and your data remains exportable on the Free tier.
7. Coaches and athletes
- A coach can access an athlete’s data only through the consent the athlete grants in-product, which the athlete may revoke at any time. Coach access is logged.
- Coaches must treat client data as confidential, use it only to coach that client, and must not export, share or repurpose it beyond the coaching relationship.
- The coaching relationship itself — its quality, safety and outcomes — is between coach and athlete. Pulsix provides the platform, not the coaching.
8. Acceptable use
Use of the Service is subject to the acceptable use policy. We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach it, with notice where reasonable.
9. Availability and changes
We aim for high availability but the Service is provided “as available”: maintenance, third-party integration changes (for example a source changing its API) and events outside our control can interrupt features. We may evolve the Service over time; if we discontinue a material feature you pay for, we will tell you in advance.
10. Intellectual property
The Service, its software, design and branding are ours or our licensors’. These terms give you a personal, non-transferable right to use the Service; they transfer no ownership of it. Your data remains yours (section 3).
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or fraud). Otherwise, to the maximum extent permitted by law: we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or loss of data caused by events outside our reasonable control; and our total liability arising from the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the amounts you paid us for the Service in that period (or £50 if you pay nothing). You are responsible for decisions you take based on the Service’s outputs, including training and nutrition decisions.
12. Termination
You can stop using Pulsix and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for material breach of these terms or the acceptable use policy. On deletion, your data is permanently removed as described in the privacy policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction — except that consumers resident elsewhere keep the protection of their local mandatory consumer law and courts.
